Usain Bolt The Honourable Saint Leo, OJ, CD (pronounced / ju ː / seɪn, August 21, 1986) is a Jamaican sprinter and three-time world and Olympic gold medalist. It's the world record and Olympic record holder in the 100 meters, 200 meters (with peers) more than 4 x 100 meters. He is the current world and Olympic champion in three events.

Bolt distinguished himself with a gold medal in 200 m 2002 World Junior Championships, making him a gold medal in the competition getting younger. In 2004, the CARIFTA Games, became the first junior sprinter to run 200 meters in under 20 seconds with a time of 19.93 s, beating the previous world record held by Roy Martin Junior by two tenths of a second. He turned professional in 2004, and even participated in the Summer Olympics of 2004, missed most of the next two seasons because of injuries. In 2007, Don Quarrie Jamaica exceeded 200 m record with a run of 19.75 s.

His 2008 season began with his world record performance in the first 100 meters world record of 9.72 s and peaked in the world and Olympic records in both 100 and 200m events at the Olympics Beijing 2008 Summer. He ran 9.69 s to 100 m and 200 m in 19.30 s, and also set a record of 100 × 37 4 m relay, 10 s with the Jamaican team. This made him the first man to win three sprint events at the Olympics since Carl Lewis single in 1984 and the first man to beat world records in three single Olympic Games. The following year he again lowered his own 100 m and 200 m world record at 9.58 s and 19.19 s respectively at the World Championships 2009. This made him the first man to hold both 100 and 200 m Olympic and world titles simultaneously.

His record margin in 2009 over 100 meters is the highest since the early realizations measurements.His digital era in sprinting have earned him the media nickname "Flash" and awards, including the IAAF World Athlete of the Year, Track & Field Athlete of the Year and Athlete of the Year Laureus.
