Rajon Rondo

Rajon Rondo
Pierre Rajon Rondo (born February 22, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who plays guard for the Boston Celtics National Basketball Association (NBA). Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Rondo attended East High School and Oak Hill Academy in his career as a basketball school, before receiving a scholarship from the University of Kentucky. He played two years in Kentucky before declaring for the draft in 2006, represented by agent Bill Duffy.

During the project, Rondo was elected the twenty in all, the Phoenix Suns, and since then the exchange Boston Celtics, where he made his rookie debut in the NBA in the 2006-07 season. He played a supporting role, before they settled at the starting point guard the Celtics in the 2007-08 season. This season, Rondo has earned his first NBA championship, playing alongside All-Stars Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. His breakout performance came in the 2009 NBA Playoffs, where on average almost a triple-double, and helped his team to the Eastern Conference champion Orlando Magic play the following seven Eastern semifinals.
