Amy Jade Winehouse (14 September 1983 to 1923 in July 2011) was an English singer-songwriter known for her powerful contralto voice and deep eclectic mix of musical genres, including R & B, soul and album jazz.Winehouse the beginning 2003, Frank was a critical success in Britain and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. She and her ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil had been plagued by legal problems, which left him to serve prison time.
