Oscar Gutierrez (born December 11, 1974) is a Mexican-American professional wrestler known for his ring name Rey Mysterio. He is currently signed with WWE, where he performed as the Raw brand. Gutierrez had been trained by his uncle Rey Mysterio, and soon fought in Mexico, where he learned Lucha Libre style, high altitude, which is his trademark.

Gutierrez originally worked for Counseling and Management Assistance (AAA) in Mexico from 1992 to 1995. He wrestled in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) from 1995 to 1996 and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) from 1996 to 2001, as Rey Misterio Jr. / Rey Mysterio Jr., but dropped the "Junior" from its name when it began working for the WWE in 2002.

Mysterio is known for having a high-flying style, which helped launch the revolution Cruiserweight fight the United States in the 1990s during his time in WCW. In WCW, Mysterio won the World Championship five times WCW Cruiserweight Championship, WCW World Tag Team Championship three times and the WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team time with Billy Kidman in the context of these unclean animals. In WWE Rey Mysterio is a three time world champion who held the World Heavyweight Championship twice, the WWE Championship once and is now listed as the lightest champion in WWE history. He also held the WWE World Cruiserweight Championship three times (a record eight times the total when added with his reign WCW), WWE Tag Team Championship four times (also a record shared with two others), and WWE Intercontinental Championship twice. In total he won 21 titles in the WWE and WCW between. Mysterio was the 21 person to win the WWE Championship Triple Crown, and was the winner of the 2006 Royal Rumble.
