Scarlett Johansson (born November 22, 1984) is an American actress and singer. Johansson made her film debut in 1994 in North cinema and was later nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Actress for her performance in 1996 Manny & Lo. Johansson rose to fame with her roles in The Horse Whisperer in 1998 and 2001 Ghost World.

He moved to adult roles for its Pearl Earring girl shows and Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation, which won a BAFTA, and both films have earned her a Golden Globe ® nomination in 2003. Role in Love Song for Bobby Long earned his third Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress.

After an appearance in The Island, Johansson received the fourth Golden Globe nomination for best supporting actress for her role in Woody Allen's Match Point. She also starred in films other Allen, as Scoop with Hugh Jackman and Allen Vicky Cristina Barcelona with Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and Rebecca Hall. Scarlett Johansson appeared in films like Christopher Nolan The Prestige and the blockbuster Iron Man 2 was a role in the revival of the 2010s on Broadway in Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge gave him some of his best critics of his plays, and received a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a room.

On May 20, 2008, Johansson debuted as a singer on her debut album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, which consists mostly of covers of songs by Tom Waits. Their second album, Break Up, Pete Yorn, was published in September 2009.
