Amir Khan (born Amir Iqbal Khan, December 8, 1986), is an English professional boxer of Pakistani origin, who is currently single IBF and WBA World Light Welterweight Champion.

Khan is currently ranked as the best boxer in the welterweight division, Timothy Bradley 's, which owns the two other major titles in the division. Khan is also ranked # 9 and # 10 pound for pound the best boxer in the world Boxrec and Sports Illustrated, respectively.

He was previously in the lightweight division, where he held the Commonwealth, WBO Inter-Continental WBA and international titles.

Despite the relatively young age, Khan has already achieved many successes along the road. He is the youngest of the British Olympic gold medalist Stefano, when he captured silver in the Athens Olympics in 2004 at the age of 17 he is also one of the youngest British world champions ever to win the WBA world championship, at the age of 22
