Asma Jilani Jahangir (urdu: عاصمہ جہانگیر) (born January 27, 1952 in Karachi) is a leading Pakistani lawyer, defender of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan and human rights activist who works both in Pakistan and internationally to prevent the persecution of religious minorities, women and child abuse.

It 'was the UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief from August 2004 to July 2010 (first connected to the old Commission on Human Rights, now Human Rights Council). Previously, he served as UN Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, arbitrary, or arbitrary. He is also President of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan.
