Beyoncé Giselle Knowles (play / bijɒnseɪ / bee-Yon, for example, born September 4, 1981), often known simply as Beyoncé, is an American R & B singer, actress and fashion designer. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she enrolled in various performing arts schools, and for the first time exposed to singing and dance competitions for children. Knowles rose to fame in late 1990 as the lead singer of R & B girl group Destiny child, one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time.

During the rest of Destiny's Child, Knowles released her debut solo album Dangerously in Love in 2003, which led to the number one hit "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy" and became one of the albums success this year, winning a record tying five Grammys later. After dismantling the group in 2005, Knowles released her second solo album, B'Day, in 2006. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and included the hits "Irreplaceable" and "Beautiful Liar". His third solo album I Am ... Sasha Fierce published in 2008, and included the song "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)." The album won six Grammy at the Grammy Knowles 52, breaking the record for most Grammys won by a female artist in one night. In 2011, Knowles released her fourth studio album 4, which became his fourth consecutive series a solo album on the Billboard 200.

Therefore Knowles other female artist and the third artist in general to have her first four studio albums debut at the top of the table.

Apart from his work in music, Knowles has also launched an acting career. In 2001 she made her debut in the musical film Carmen: A Hip Hopera before in major films including Dreamgirls (2006), which earned him two Golden Globe nominations, and Cadillac Records (2008). In 2004, Knowles introduced her mother and her clothing line family, House of Deréon, Knowles has also endorsed brands like Pepsi, Tommy Hilfiger, Armani and L'Oreal. In June 2010, Knowles was second on the Forbes list of 100 most powerful celebrities and influential in the world and the first in its list of musicians the most powerful and influential in the world.
