Javed Ahmed Ghamidi (Urdu: جاوید احمد غامدی) (b. 1951) is a well-known Islamic theology in Pakistan, a scholar and exegete of the Qur'an, and educator. Former member of the Jamaat-e-Islami, who extended the work of his mentor, Amin Ahsan Islahi.Ghamidi is the founder of Al-Mawrid The Institute of Islamic Sciences and its sister organization in Denmark Sara.He a member of the Council Islamic ideology since January 28, 2006, a constitutional body responsible for providing legal advice on matters of Islamic Pakistan, the government and parliament. He has also taught at the Academy of officials from 1980 to 1991.He is a spiritual movement similar to running Wastiyya Egypt, popular electronic media in Pakistan.
