Shahrukh Khan (Hindi: शाहरुख़ ख़ान, born November 2, 1965), often credited with Shah Rukh Khan, Indian actress and film producer and television host. Often referred to as the "King of Bollywood", Khan has worked for more than 70 Hindi films.

Khan began his career appearing in several television series in the late 1980s. He made his film debut in Deewana (1992). Since then he has served on several commercially successful movies and received critical acclaim for several of its shows. Khan has won fourteen Filmfare Awards for his work in Indian films, including eight for Best Actor (a record). In 2005, the Government of India honored him with Padma Shri for her contribution to Indian cinema.

Khan movies like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Chak De! India (2007), Om Shanti Om (2007) and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) remain the biggest hits of Bollywood, while films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Brougham ... (2001), Kal Ho Ho Oh (2003), Veer-Zaara (2004), Kabhi Alvida Kehna well (2006) and My Name Is Khan (2010) was the best selling Indian products in the markets abroad, making him one of the most successful players in India.

Since 2000, Khan embarked on film production and television presenting as well. He is the founder / owner of two production companies, Dreamz Unlimited and Red Chillies Entertainment. In general, Khan is considered one of the biggest stars of cinema, with a fan after the numbering of the billion and a net worth estimated at more Indian Rupee symbol.svg2, 500 crore (U.S. $ 557 5 million). In 2008, Newsweek named her one of the 50 most powerful people in the world.
