Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi (Urdu: صاحبزادہ محمد شاہد خان آفریدی) (born March 1, 1980 in Khyber Agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan), popularly known as Shahid Afridi (Pashto: شاهد افریدی) is a player Pakistani cricket. Between 1996 and 2011, played 27 tests Afridi, 325 One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals 43 (T20Is) for the Pakistani national team. He made his debut on 2 October 1996 ODI against Kenya and his debut on October 22, 1998 test against Australia.

He is known for his aggressive batting style, and maintain a record for the fastest ODI century, who made his first international innings and scoring 32 runs in a course, the second highest number of points, more than ever ODI.He also the difference between having the highest number of sixes hit in the history of ODI cricket.Afridi batter is considered a better player, and took 48 wickets over 300 Test and ODIs. Afridi is currently the largest purchaser to take 53 wickets in the Twenty20 format matches 43 wickets.

In June 2009, Afridi has Twenty20 captaincy of Younus Khan, and later was appointed captain for ODI 2010 Asia Cup. In his first game as captain ODI against Sri Lanka, he scored a century, but Pakistan still lost by 16 runs. He also took over the test captaincy, but resigned after a fight that has the responsibility for the lack of form and his ability to play Test cricket when he announced his retirement from trial. He retained the captaincy as limited overs game and led the team in 2011 World Cup. Among the highlights, while Pakistan captain include leading the team to their first series ODI victory in two years. In May 2011, was led Pakistan in 34 ODIs Afridi replaced as captain. Later that month, he announced his retirement from international cricket conditional to protest against his treatment by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
