Imran Khan Niazi (Punjabi, Pashto, Urdu: عمران خان نیازی) (born November 25, 1952) is a Pakistani politician and former Pakistani cricketer who played international cricket for two decades in the twentieth century and a politician from mid-1990. Today, in addition to his political activism, Khan is also a cricket commentator philanthropist, and the Rector of the University of Bradford.

Khan played for Pakistan cricket team from 1971 to 1992 and served as captain on and off throughout 1982 and 1992. After retiring from cricket at the end of the 1987 World Cup was called to join the team in 1988. At 39, Khan led his teammates in Pakistan wins the World Cup's first and only in 1992. He has a record of 3807 points and 362 wickets in Test cricket, making it one of the eight cricketers in the world that has achieved a "road" in matches.On Triple test July 14, 2010, Khan was inducted Hall of Fame cricket.

In April 1996, Khan founded and became president of a political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (Movement for Justice). He represented Mianwali as a member of the National Assembly in November 2002 to October 2007.Khan through fundraising in the world, helped establish Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in 1996 and College Mianwali Namale in 2008.
