Benazir Bhutto (Sindhi: بينظير ڀٽو; urdu: بینظیر بھٹو, pronounced [we ː ː ː rb nəzi ʊʈʈo ʱ], 21 June 1953-27 December 2007) was a Pakistani politician, was born, where the Kurdish-Iranian and Pakistani origin , who served as the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), the center-left and the largest political party in Pakistan. Bhutto was the first woman elected to lead a Muslim state, [1] has twice been Prime Minister of Pakistan (1988-1990, 1993-1996). It 'was Pakistan's first woman Prime Minister and so far only, and was the eldest son of former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and former First Lady Mrs.Nusrat Bhutto in Pakistan, and was the wife current President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari.

Benazir Bhutto was sworn in as prime minister for the first time in 1988 at the age of 35, but was dismissed 20 months later under orders of President Ghulam Ishaq Khan for alleged corruption. In 1993 she was re-elected but was again removed in 1996 on similar charges, this time by his party is elected president Farooq Leghari. She went into self-exile in Dubai in 1998.

Bhutto returned to Pakistan October 18, 2007, after President Pervez Musharraf arrived, he was granted amnesty and all corruption charges were removed. He was assassinated December 27, 2007, after departing a PPP rally the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi, two weeks before the elections scheduled in Pakistan in 2008, where he was the opposition candidate. The following year he was named one of seven winners of the United Nations Prize in the field of human rights.
