Halle Berry was born on August 14, 1966) is an actress, former model and beauty queen. Berry has received Emmy, Golden Globe, SAG and NAACP Image Award for Introducing Dorothy Dandridge and won an Oscar for Best Actress and was nominated for a BAFTA in 2001 for her performance in Monster Ball, becoming the first and from 2011, the only African American woman to win the award for Best Actress. One of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood and also a Revlon spokeswoman. She has participated in the production side of several films in which he played.

Before becoming an actress, Berry entered several beauty contests, finishing as first runner in the U.S. Miss (1986), and coming in 6th place in Miss World in 1986. She made her film debut with a small role in 1991's Jungle Fever.
